Jtwo Films has created an extensive collection of custom bat box designs beyond The Bat King Box, each tailored to celebrate different aspects of baseball culture and artistry. Featured below are three standout designs that showcase our range—from street art-inspired storage solutions to vintage commemorative pieces that honor the game’s greatest legends.
Everything about Fernando Tatis Jr. is next level loud. From his game to his style he has quickly become one of Major League Baseball‘s brightest young stars and with that comes a lot of noise.
Our team was tasked with tuning it all out and creating a spot for our longtime client, Victus Sports, that focus’s on what is most important to him as a player – family, hard work and simply enjoying the game of baseball. In this extended Director’s Cut, we see Tatis working on his game in the offseason while preparing for the future.
Designing the JROD Graffiti Box was like turning a storage container into a piece of street art itself. We went all-in on authenticity, covering the exterior with different JROD graffiti styles—from quick tags and bubble letters to complex wildstyle pieces that wrap around the corners. Each side of the box represents a different era or technique from JROD’s graffiti evolution, so when you see it sitting there, it’s like looking at a timeline of urban art culture. We even added texture and weathering effects to make it feel like it came straight off a subway wall, because these bats deserve packaging that matches their underground artistic spirit.
Designing the Jackie Robinson commemorative bat box was about honoring a legend through authentic vintage aesthetics. We weathered the entire surface to give it that classic, worn feel of something from the 1940s Brooklyn era, then layered in halftone patterns throughout the design to mimic the newspaper photography style of his playing days. His iconic number 42 appears in multiple scales and treatments across every panel—sometimes bold and prominent, other times subtly integrated into the background texture. The real showstopper is the authentic photography we sourced of Jackie actually on the field, sliding into bases and swinging for the fences, which we treated with those same halftone effects to create a cohesive vintage newspaper aesthetic. Every element works together to transport you back to when he was breaking barriers and changing the game forever.
